Rockstart Accelerator announces a new program to support Europe’s most promising startup companies break through internationally. Based in the European startup hub Amsterdam, Rockstart accelerates 10 teams of founders with 99 mentors for 100 days and an additional three-month Summer Program, ending with a 25-day road trip to Silicon Valley USA. Rockstart Accelerator promises equal opportunities for all startups, whether these are in technology, sustainability, retail, or other sectors.

Over the last 18 months Rockstart Accelerator team organized and facilitated Startup Weekend events all across Europe, in London,Copenhagen, Athens, Bucharest, Warsaw, Bratislava, Bruxelles, Prague, and Amsterdam where about 200 startup teams and 3000 entrepreneurs participated.

The Rockstart Accelerator Program 2012 is for startups from the whole of Europe. Teams from Tallinn to Paris and Madrid, from Hamburg to Beograd and Istanbul are welcome to apply. The Program starts on March 1, 2012 and is now open for applications on rockstart.com/accelerator (closing on January 6, 2012).

Start in Amsterdam

Based in Amsterdam, Rockstart Accelerator provides startups with free office space and 5,000 EUR per founder with a maximum of 15,000 EUR per team. In the 100-day Spring Program, startups are challenged to work out and elaborate on their proposition while being coached by 99 rock star entrepreneurs, CEO’s and experts in their field. Day 100 is Demo Day where startups pitch in front of European investors, funds and the media.

The Summer program offers startups additional support in dealing with complex issues like investor negotiations, valuation, intellectual property, marketing and PR while at the same time continue to grow their startup. The program ends with a 25-day co-working experience in Silicon Valley.

The promise in short: 10 high potential startups, 99 mentors, 100 day program including an additional 3-month summer program, 25-days of co-working in the U.S., 5,000 EUR per founder, office space in downtown Amsterdam, personal feedback for all applicants.
